Yes, it is in the genes. Dad took us riding all the time, and it was serious training everytime. you should have seen my dad there too, riding his Triumph cub, which is the first motorcycle of any kind that he purchased in 1967 at the age of 27, the year I was born.

Make sure your fan is coming on and make sure your radiator is hot on the top and bottom, this confirms the water is being circulated by the impeller. Next, check for the heat shield on the rear fender, it is a silver heat resistant material that is a sticker and is on the rear fender by the exhaust. If all this checks out, you probably just got the exhaust hot enough to burn up all the unburnt oil from the previous owner, who probably never trail road the bike hard.

Jordan is very upstanding. His is a long time customer and takes good care of his bikes. This would make a very good bike for you and yes, I can ship for Jordan Davies to you.

Some of the Beta's had magnesium cases and the cases actually deteriorated and the actual cases needed to be replaced or the clutch cover itself. Maybe this is why the Beta is so cheap. This may not be the case, but I have seen it before. On the 2004 Sherco, there is nothing to worry about on this year model. Very bullet proof bike. The price is a little high though. But it is hard to find any good bikes for under 3,000, so it may be worth it.

That is true about paying for all the lodging. If they change that, TTC would probably do it again.

Steve,
What do I search under to find the video you are referencing. I would enjoy watching some of my riders in action at TTC teen camp.

Justin,
Welcome to Trials! We will be in California at Donner Ski Ranch this weekend. Come up and see us. You must get the Trials Training Technique video from Ryan Young and you must get Trials boots. After that, Trials helmet and Trials gloves. These items will make learning Trials alot easier.

Probably sometime close to the new year.

The forks act like a slide hammer. Take the dust cover out and remove the metal clip and the bottom drain bolt. Now do the slide hammer thing several times hard and the seal will come out of the fork leg. There is a manual online at www.shercousa.com under service info and then service manuals, down towards the bottom.

C12 is the only one I have experience with and it worked great.

Yes, you are doing it correctly. We definately rev the bike up to slip the clutch. Keep up the good work.

Never tried the oko. It is normal for the fan to run alot. The 3.2 runs hot.

The plugs on our 3.2's were always black. You can certainly check valve clearance, that is always a good idea.

Thank you.

reeds not closing all the way is not an issue. The mixture screw doesn't do much on the Dellorto's. You usually have to change the pilot jet to make a difference.
Ryan Young
Main jet 122, pilot 45 air screw 3/4 out.

Brandon,
I don't think you can go too far. You can go past vertical to ground. It is hard to give a measurement or reference as to hard far forward you can go, but like I said, I don't think you can go too far forward.

Chase Harker and a few others.
