Introducing
the New 2006
Sherco Trials Models
|
|
|
|
|
|
All of the Trials
Models have received a complete redesign which is derived from having top riders,
especially Albert Cabestany, provide input based on their competitive
experience at the highest level of World Competition.
|
|
For 2006, Sherco
offers the most complete line of trials motorcycles available in the
marketplace, being the only manufacturer in the world to offer both 2T and
4T models.
|
|
In addition to the
new models offered, Sherco will continue to catalog the existing 2.5 and
2.9 models. These models will be offered at a very competitive price and
will be the perfect bike for the rider who is just starting to ride Trials.

The
2006 season marks a major milestone in the history of Sherco; the complete
trials model line has been totally redesigned. The young but successful
company has used all of its experience and technical skill to develop a new
model line that will surely bring continued success and prestige to the
company that was founded in 1998.
In 2005, the new and revolutionary 3.2 4T was the star of the show, in 2006
Sherco continues to show its commitment to the world of trials by
presenting to the world market the most complete line of trials motorcycles
available. Sherco continues to show its confidence in the effectiveness and
future of the 2T motor because we are convinced that in spite of
fashionable or legal impositions, the coexistence of the 2T and 4T motors
is overwhelmingly logical. We are convinced that by offering both engine
types we will satisfy the needs of our customers and provide a
differentiated product to our valuable and discerning clients. Faithful to
this philosophy we have continued to evolve both types of engines and the
best example of this is the 2006 model line.
We cannot fail to mention how returning to the highest level of world
competition at the hands of our world class rider, Albert Cabestany, has
affected the evolution of the new design. All of the experience gained in
this competition has been assimilated by our Technical Department and
incorporated into the new 2006 models. The new model line consists of the
following models: 0.5, 0.8, 1.25, 2.5, 2.9 and 3.2 4T.
All of the models except for the kids 0.5 (it does receive the new 2006
graphics design) share a common frame. The 2.0 has been dropped from the
catalogue as a unique model, however a kit will be offered that will
increase the displacement of the 1.25 for those users who desire greater
power.
In order to provide beginning riders with a great starter bike the existing
2.5 and 2.9 models will continue to be offered. These models will remain in
the catalogue and will be offered at a very competitive price. This will
allow the beginning rider to purchase a Sherco bike that is recognized
around the world as a high quality product.
The launch of the new 2006 2T Trials models is scheduled for the middle of
October; the new 3.2 4T is scheduled to arrive in the marketplace near the
end of 2005.
