The 2006 Indoor Trial Championship of Spain could not have gotten off to a better start for the Sherco colors. Albert Cabestany faced the challenge of competing in the first round of the Championship in his hometown; the Sherco rider faced the pressure and rose to the occasion by completely surpassing all expectations. In the classification lap Albert finished second, one point behind Adam Raga. In the actual competition the three riders, Toni Bou, Adam Raga and Albert were very close in points until the fifth section which turned the tide in Albert’s favor, his zero in that section and then the same score in the next section, mathematically assured him the victory.  The local crowd was very excited and enthused by the victory of their hometown rider.
After the victory obtained last week in the GP of Japan, Albert Cabestany is very pleased with the momentum that he has obtained and is very satisfied that he is leading the provisional classification of the 2006 Spanish Indoor Championship.
